Today, I was asked about the "A, B, C's" of essential oils ... so, I thought we'd have a look!
We will start at the beginning of the ABC’s as well as with one of my “regular" essential oils.
"A" for "Aroma Life": this beautiful blend by Young Living brings vitality to the heart and the helichrysum and ylang ylang essential oils are both recognized by Health Canada as "calmatives".
The description, provided by Young Living, gives some tips as to where to apply the oils, in connection with reflexology points: “Apply over the heart, on the feet, on the hand under the ring finger, and above the elbow."
(NOTE: the description also says: Possible skin sensitivity. If pregnant or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician.)
One strategy that I like to use is to do a brief meditation with my hand (and Aroma Life) on my chest above my heart. I also love breathing in the oils (just open the bottle and inhale - love the ylang ylang!)
A bonus is when you are asked: “What perfume are you wearing? You smell wonderful!" 😃
